Elena Sisiou has been working in physiotherapy centres since 2010, whilst also providing home-based treatment.
Her involvement in dance and movement from a very young age, combined with her subsequent studies in physiotherapy, laid the foundations for her to pursue clinical Pilates and specialise in therapeutic rehabilitation through exercise.
She believes that yoga fosters the connection between body and mind and constantly strives to adapt it to the needs of each practitioner, using it as a tool for rehabilitation.
Understanding the specific needs of women during pregnancy, as well as the role of exercise before and after childbirth, and out of respect for motherhood, she has dedicated herself to perinatal yoga, supporting women on their journey through pregnancy.
Wishing to explore in even greater depth the issues faced by women both during their reproductive years and thereafter, she specialised in pelvic floor dysfunction.
